FREE guide to help you save $ on food

03/24/25 - Monday

Morning, peeps!

For those of us who live in more tropical climates (Jen, Jill, & Goldie🙋‍♀️) fresh produce is abundant. Sweet mangoes, coconuts, and pineapples so good they ruin the canned stuff forever. 😋

BUT not all produce is created equal, especially when it’s out of season. No matter where you are, one of the best ways to save money on food and eat better is by shopping for what's in season. 🌤️

When you buy what's in season, you’re also supporting local farmers (bless them), reducing your carbon footprint, and getting produce that’s often yummier and more nutritious.

After all, produce that’s grown close to home can be picked at its peak ripeness and delivered to your local stores in a fraction of time and money it takes for out-of-season imports to get to your plate.

Not to mention, it is a fun way to explore new recipes and add variety to your meals! And once you get the hang of shopping and eating with the seasons—not against them—there’s no turning back. It just makes sense. :)

☀️ We’ve put together a FREE produce seasonality guide for you to download. It’ll help you shop smarter, save more, and maybe even find a new favorite veggie.

▶️ And catch our latest Sunday Reset video, where we answer a listener question about how to make purchases without feeling guilty.

 🕰️ Perfectly timed bills 🕰️

When you shop, timing matters. You wouldn’t buy strawberries in winter unless they’re from that one local stand who always seems to have the freshest options on the block.

The same goes for life insurance. Getting it at the right time ensures you’re covered when you need it most. With Ladder, you can lock in affordable and flexible life insurance in 5 minutes.

The best time to get insured is before you need it so don’t put it off. Future you will be glad you did!
