Hello friends!
Tis the season for all the baked goods, parties, and exchanging of sweet treats. 🍬
And for the more savory food lovers among us, the biscuits 🍪, breads 🍞, and focaccias 🧽 are begging us to add them to the meal plan!
One of the mistakes I made last year was NOT factoring in the added cost of food, even the kind made at home, around the holidays.
I had a sinking fund for gifts but was totally caught off guard by the increased grocery costs for all the baking and cooking I was doing.
🙅🏻♀️ NOT THIS YEAR! If you’re also determined to stick to your spending plan (or just free up more funds for gifts 😎) join me in… *drum rolls*
🎛️ Baking items based solely on what you have in your pantry.
This can even include substituting ingredients based on what you have on hand.
We can challenge ourselves to use up everything in the cupboards and start with fresh ingredients in the new year .
I (Jill) am planning on making these biscuits.
Let us know what you’re making with the things you have on hand (feel free to tag us on IG and/or respond to this email)!
